Two Famous Hangout Places in Eastern Nepal.

The days are getting hotter with a scorching sun in the daytime-approaching 40-degree Celsius in plain areas. If you are being bored with hot weather in Terrain regions, it's better to have an outing to the nearest chill mid-hills. A jaunt rejuvenates the mind and defies lethargy inside you. Traveling to an exotic place even heals your agonies. Some of the places to visit in the Mid hills Eastern Region of Nepal are enlisted hereunder.




1. Dharan.
Called the queen of the east, the city is located from the foothills of Mahabharat range to the territory near Charkoshey Jhadi of Terrain region. The climate becomes cool in ascending from Dharan to Bhedetar with the relevantly changing weather. The bent roads make the way more mesmerizing. Group motorcycle riding and reserved mini vehicles are often seen on holidays in this way. Chilled weather and fluctuating fogs are meticulously seen when you step in Bhedetar. Every tourist seems to have an exhilarating experience. The way towards Rajarani reaches to Namje. The Okhre tower, located at the top of Okhre hill, is also on the way of Rajarani. It takes about 15mins walking to the tower from the main route. The coolness goes on increasing as you climb up more. Some steep stairs, foggy weather, and rhododendron's plants all in the way. Wind goes on increasing when you reach more towards the tower. Frequently changing fogs and a splendiferous aerial view of Dharan, Itahari, Biratnagar, and even The Saptakoshi river, the largest river of a country can be sighted from the tower. A bottle of water is recommended for a hike.

Secondly, you shouldn't miss a waterfall called Namastey Jharana by locals. It is located farther from Bhedetar at low altitude than that of Okhre. A majestic, tall, and drizzling waterfall could lose all your inner warmth. Visitors could bathe and swim in the waterfall as well.

2. Kanyam.

 Another mid-hill eastern place for an outing is Kanyam of Ilam district, northern route of Charali, Jhapa. The weather keeps on getting cool when you go off from a place Budhabarey. Bent roads and tea cultivation in a side seem alluring to watch on. Tea gardens located in slopy top lands are popular among tourists for a picnic, sightseeing, and most probably photography. Visitors also do horse riding. Kanyam lies in the way of Ilam bazaar and Fikkal, a business junction to go to Pashupatinagar, a place near Darjeeling.

The Lockdown

I was sleeping until the sun rays from the window came to my eyes. The honk of the horn came from outside: "Who wants fruits? Who wants vegetables?" I was still yawning and rolling my eyelids just to figure out who was yelling at the roadway. My brother came in no time.  He uttered: "Do you have green leaves and onions?"  I was still clumsy while he went by me and took some veggies early in the morning.  It was the 25th day since the Lockdown began. The roads and streets were silent with minimal vehicles and passers-by. Anybody could listen to the sound of chirping birds in the road with few amounts of daily accessing food vehicles and medical traffics in the thoroughfare.
